We did not want to leave, strongly recommend. Room price is just right - € 157.
Nothing bad to say.
Worth its 4 stars. Came in Charleville to relax and have fun, this hotel was excellent base for doing it. We truly enjoyed the amenities, such as central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a mirror. Breakfast was served in their restaurant.
A right place for exploring Charleville. Recommend for everyone.
Walking distance to East Ocean, where you can have lunch. We recommend once again.
Nothing to dislike!
. . . Hotel staff were efficient and friendly and the room was well-appointed and spotless - all good
Very nice new facility especially for the small town of Charleville. Has hair dryer which wasn't the norm in Ireland countryside.
It would be nice if they had a shuttle to and from the train station as there are no taxis available.
I was attending a family wedding and everything was lovely.
The bedrooms were much too hot even with the window open
Huge room, flat screen T.V.,comfy beds, fantasic bathroom, lovley food.Overall one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever been in...
Only thing I could fault is the rooms were very warm..
Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Very good Bar Menu at a reasonable price. Swimming pool was excellent.
Staff helpful and friendly.Nice decor
Rooms v hot ,no aircon
Leisure centre was excellent and rooms were clean and comfortable.
It's a bit off the beaten track with no easy motorway access. It's about an hour from Cork City. Restaurant was disappointing. Breakfast was good, but dinner was poor and very over priced.
I was very pleasantly surprised that a Hotel of this quality I had not heard of before. In particular the Leisure Centre was one of the best I have used in some time. I would and indeed have recommended this hotel to others who intend to travel to North Cork.
Couldn't find any issue with this hotel
It had all the conforts of a good class hotel. However, I didn't like the system at breakfast of bringing around the tea in a pot. This system had, in my view, a number of drawbacks: one had to wait if the waitress was busy with other matters, one had no control over the strength or weakness of the tea being served, one had no control over the temperature of the tea. The tea arrangements seemed uneccessary and pointless.
The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds. The swimming pool, steam sauna and jacuzzi were very good - nice clean and welcoming facilities.
The bar area. The decor is a bit drab and the bar staff were a bit clueless when taking orders, in that we had to remind them 3 times about missing food/ drinks and then the bill didnt accurately reflect all our food etc, which we did pay for after bringing this to their attention.
The room was good and clean
The food in the bar not good the beer very flat and not a friendly atmosphere
